LG Electronics has launched the 'PuriCare Objet Collection AI+ 360˚ Air Purifier,' which manages indoor air quality with Affective Intelligence (AI).

It is the first product to feature the 'AI Air Quality Sensor' developed by LG Electronics. The AI Air Quality Sensor uses AI to detect pollutants and purifies the air according to the type of gas and the level of contamination. In testing by the Korean Standards Association, the AI Air Quality Sensor—trained through deep learning—was verified for its performance in detecting three types of harmful gases, including formaldehyde, ammonia, and volatile organic compounds, as well as oil mist, and managing the air accordingly. The new product detects a total of nine types of pollutants using the AI Air Quality Sensor together with sensors that detect fine dust, ultrafine dust, extra-fine dust, and volatile organic compounds (harmful gases). Another strength is the AI Custom Operation function, which learns and analyzes indoor air quality every hour. This function allows the product to analyze air quality on its own and adjust its operating intensity, reducing power consumption by up to more than 50% compared to the existing AI mode. Having verified the performance of its AI Air Quality Sensor and AI Custom Operation, LG Electronics also obtained the 'AI+ Certification' certified by the Korean Standards Association and Wisestone, a state-accredited testing and certification institution. In addition, the new product applies the next-generation Puri Deodorizing Clean M Filter, improving deodorization performance by more than 40% compared to the existing Puri Deodorizing Clean G Filter. The new product is available in two Objet Collection colors—Sand Beige and Nature Green—and is priced at 2.09 million won based on the shipping price.
