LG Electronics has launched its next-generation Styler, further advancing its patented TrueSteam technology.

The new product features “Dual TrueSteam,” which increases the number of heaters that boil water to generate steam from one to two. According to LG Electronics, whereas the amount of steam generated was previously fixed, the new product combines its two heaters, which have different power consumption, in various ways, enabling more precise steam control depending on the fabric of the garment. It also adds cashmere and silk care courses that were not previously available, allowing for delicate care and delivering a differentiated customer experience.

The new product also shortens operating time. When the Styler is turned on, it first preheats the interior to enhance the sterilizing effect. While previous models used only the inverter heat pump for preheating, the new product uses the heater at the same time to reduce preheating time. In addition, the sterilization course has been shortened from 99 minutes to 79 minutes, and the standard course from 39 minutes to 35 minutes.

The new LG Styler is part of the “UP Appliance” lineup, which can continuously receive upgrades to various convenience features through the UP Appliance Center in the “LG ThinQ” app. LG Electronics plans to keep adding clothing care courses that allow garments to be managed in diverse and convenient ways.

The new product is available in Mist Green and Mist Beige, colors from the “LG Objet Collection” of space-interior appliances, and is priced at 2.39 million won based on the shipping price.

Meanwhile, the Styler uses its proprietary Moving Hanger technology to shake clothes up to 200 times per minute, evenly removing fine dust that is difficult to eliminate with air alone, while TrueSteam is effective not only for deodorizing and sterilizing but also for relaxing wrinkles in fabric. 1544-7777
