Applies the 'Volume Texture' method that keeps the embossed texture alive even after installation
LX Hausys has launched the 2023 renewed version of its flagship best-selling wallpaper, '휘앙세93'.
'휘앙세93' is a duplex wallpaper made with natural pulp, and thanks to its affordable price and easy installation, it has been a steady seller consistently loved by consumers since its release in 1996. The newly renewed 2023 '휘앙세93' wallpaper has been released in a total of 145 color designs, with the addition of pastel-tone colors such as mint and pink—recently popular among consumers—as well as point colors such as deep green, navy, and black. In particular, the 2023 '휘앙세93' features the newly applied 'Volume Texture' method, which keeps the embossed (raised, bumpy pattern) texture alive even after installation, further enhancing its sense of volume. Through LX Hausys's own special printing method, the embossing is maintained without change even after installation, setting it apart from other duplex wallpapers whose embossed texture disappears after installation. In addition, the 2023 '휘앙세93' uses 100% water-based ink and has proven its eco-friendliness, having received the Ministry of Environment's Eco-Label certification. Currently, some domestic duplex wallpaper products use both water-based and oil-based inks in the manufacturing process, but LX Hausys has used only water-based ink since 2004. This is because wallpaper printed with oil-based ink may retain substances harmful to the human body, such as toluene and methyl ethyl ketone. Along with this, the 2023 '휘앙세93' has also significantly reinforced its kids line. It has been newly composed with point patterns featuring animal characters as well as brighter, more vivid colors such as pink, yellow, and mint.
