LX Hausys has launched the 2024 renewal of its premium sheet flooring product ‘LX Z:IN XComfort.’
‘XComfort’ is a sheet flooring product that has been consistently loved for its luxurious design and comfortable underfoot walking feel since its launch in 2019. It has now been renewed with further improved walking safety and the addition of the latest popular designs such as stone and wood patterns. In particular, unlike conventional sheet flooring with a single cushion layer, ‘XComfort’ features a dual cushion structure composed of an upper layer that absorbs impact and an elastic lower layer, providing a more comfortable walking feel than other flooring—its greatest distinguishing feature. Thanks to this dual cushion structure, it also delivers a real-life lightweight impact-noise reduction function that helps reduce living noise and the impact sounds generated when light objects are dropped. In addition, the renewed ‘XComfort’ newly applies special surface treatment technology to strengthen its ‘slip resistance performance,’ allowing not only people but also pets to walk more safely. In a slip-safety test on dogs, the slip resistance performance of ‘XComfort’ was found to be about 30% superior to the company’s existing laminate flooring. Furthermore, ‘XComfort’ has newly obtained the ‘Pet Product Safety Certification (PS Certification).’ The PS Certification is granted only to products that pass the safety standards designated by the Korea Kennel Association and KOTITI Testing & Research Institute, and it is drawing great interest, particularly among households with pets. On top of this, ‘XComfort’ has obtained the Ministry of Environment’s Eco-Label certification—on the grounds of reduced global environmental pollution, reduced hazardous substances, and reduced living-environment pollution during the manufacturing process—thereby also proving its eco-friendliness. The new ‘XComfort’ has been released in a total of 15 designs, including 9 ‘stone’ patterns that reproduce the texture of premium marble with a three-dimensional feel, and 6 ‘wood’ patterns that capture the emotional appeal of natural wood with delicate grain and vivid color.
