To mark the spring peak season for interior design, LX Hausys has launched a 2022 renewal of its flagship, best-selling wallpaper, 'LX Z:IN ZIA Fabric.'
Since its launch in 2018, 'ZIA Fabric' wallpaper has been highly popular for its distinctive design that captures the tactile feel and three-dimensionality of woven fabric, as well as its eco-friendliness achieved by applying plant-derived ingredients to the product's surface layer. Now, four years later, the company is unveiling a renewed new product. The most notable feature of the newly renewed 2022 'ZIA Fabric' wallpaper is the addition of matte colors and design patterns that further enhance the fabric texture. It is available in 120 colors across a total of 6 collections, including Matte Painting, Real Fabric, and the Eco-Friendly Kids Collection.
First, a wide range of matte colors with various textures has been substantially added, reflecting the 'matte interior' trend that has recently been in the spotlight in Korea. The 'Matte Painting' collection is characterized by its faithful rendering of a clean, crisp matte look, as if actual paint had been applied. In particular, for deep matte colors, the same color as the printed layer is applied to the foam layer beneath the wallpaper surface, making it resistant to scratches and leaving seams virtually invisible. In addition, the 'Real Fabric' collection, which uses an advanced embossing technique to further enhance the plump texture and sense of thickness unique to fabric—more so than existing products, as if touching real cloth—helps create sophisticated spaces with a comfortable, cozy atmosphere. Alongside these, differentiated pattern designs such as 'Midnight Flower,' which features gorgeous, exotic materials reminiscent of imported wallpaper, and 'Emotional Terrazzo,' which renders stone and marble textures in matte colors, are expected to prove highly popular.
