Hansol Homedeco (CEO Kim Kyung-rok), a company specializing in eco-friendly building materials and interiors, has launched the new ‘Storyboard’ Door & Body, reflecting the latest interior design trends.

‘Storyboard’ is a high-quality furniture material made by bonding eco-friendly surfacing to Hansol Homedeco’s own proprietary MDF (SE0, E0), produced in-house, and it covers not only furniture doors but also bodies. In particular, the ‘Storyboard’ Door & Body is distinguished by its ability to be combined in colors tailored to individual tastes. Furniture typically varies only the door color while using white or gray boards for the body, but the newly launched ‘Storyboard’ lets you choose your preferred color for the interior of the furniture body as well.

Reflecting the recent trend of prioritizing individual taste, the ‘Storyboard’ body comes in a total of 10 trendy colors—including ▲Terracotta ▲Peach Pink ▲Butter Cream ▲Basil Olive ▲Royal Navy ▲Whale Gray—broadening the range of choices. In addition, the ‘Storyboard’ door is offered in five series—▲Easy Clean HPL ▲Luxury PET ▲Premium PP ▲Special PET ▲ASA—allowing consumers to select products that suit their preferences. Among them, ‘Easy Clean HPL’ offers excellent abrasion and impact resistance, and by applying a special German coating technology it delivers outstanding fingerprint and scratch resistance, along with its own self-restoring ability against scratches. When fine scratches occur, they can be removed by wiping with a dry cloth, while deep scratches disappear when a damp cloth is placed on the surface and steam-ironed for 15 seconds. ‘Luxury PET’ is an eco-friendly product with outstanding three-dimensional depth, realizing the latest trend patterns through an embossing method. PET, the material used for milk bottles and beverage containers, is an eco-friendly material widely used in today’s interior market, and ‘Luxury PET’ delivers a variety of vivid colors ranging from stripe embossing to metal & pearl tones.

‘Premium PP’ applies German-made sheets and features patterns independently developed by Hansol. As an eco-friendly PP board product with excellent tensile and impact strength, it reproduces a realistic look by adding an embossed texture to various wood and stone patterns. ‘Special PET’ is distinguished by its special surface coating, which provides outstanding fingerprint resistance so that everyday stains can be easily removed. It also offers not only antibacterial function but also excellent durability against friction and washing, and its addition of a safe Silver-ion antibacterial agent—also used in food packaging—gives it superior color expression. In addition, ‘ASA’ is an eco-friendly material comparable to PET, made from LG Chem’s eco-friendly, high-quality ASA resin. In particular, thanks to minimal change in physical properties and discoloration even during long-term use, it is also used as an automotive exterior material.
