Bosch's Power Tools division has launched the 'GAS 18V-12 MC Professional,' a powerful and convenient BiTurbo cordless dust extractor.
The new product is one of the 'optimal solutions for dust removal' that Bosch Power Tools is focusing on this year for the health and safety of power tool users. Although compact at 35×5×450×470 mm, the product delivers powerful performance, and its exceptional suction comes from Bosch's own powerful BiTurbo brushless motor, large filter capacity, and superior cyclone technology. In particular, as an M-class dust extractor that meets a 99.9% filtration rate for its filter system among dust classification grades, it can filter out most of the dust generated at work sites, including concrete, brick, wood, gypsum, and tile cement. In addition to dust, it can also extract liquid substances, making it suitable for both dry and wet applications. Furthermore, the new product incorporates an Auto-Start function to enhance the user's focus on the task. This is a function whereby the dust extractor automatically operates or stops by detecting the vibration generated when using a connected tool such as a rotary hammer drill. To use this feature, simply attach the Auto-Start transmitter accessory (GCT 30-42) to the tool and pair it with the 'GAS 18V-12 MC.' Semi-automatic filter cleaning is activated each time the battery cover is closed, further extending the lifespan of the filter and the dust extractor. Moreover, 'ESD (electrostatic discharge),' an innovative static electricity discharge solution, automatically releases electric charge, so there is no need to worry about static electricity.
The new product, the 'GAS 18V-12 MC,' operates with just a single 18V battery, and its small size and light weight give it excellent mobility at the work site and make it easy to carry. It can be stored by hanging it on a holder or transported using its wheels. Upon purchase, an anti-static hose 3.2 m in length and a nozzle are provided along with the bare tool (the tool body), and it can be connected simply with the Click & Clean system without the need for an adapter. In addition, the Bosch 18V battery is compatible with all of Bosch's professional 18V power tools, offering both convenience and economy.
