Kiturami Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Jae-beom) announced the launch of the ‘Kiturami Geokkkuro (Upside-Down) ECO Condensing Boiler,’ which not only comes standard with eco-friendly technology but also offers excellent durability and enhanced hot-water supply capacity.

The ‘Kiturami Geokkuro ECO Condensing Boiler’ meets all Ministry of Environment certification standards, including a thermal efficiency of 92% or higher, nitrogen oxides of 20 ppm or less, and carbon monoxide of 100 ppm or less. Through the ‘Household Low-NOx Boiler Distribution Support Program,’ buyers can receive a government subsidy of 200,000 won.

This new product applies an all-stainless two-stage heat exchanger that is highly resistant to corrosion, providing excellent durability even after long-term use, and adds a secondary heat exchanger that recycles otherwise-wasted heat through condensing technology to achieve a thermal efficiency of 92% or higher. In addition, it is equipped with an eco-friendly combustion device, the ‘Metal Fiber Low-NOx Burner,’ which reduces emissions of nitrogen oxides—a major cause of fine dust—to one-eighth the level of older conventional boilers (from 173 ppm to 20 ppm or less), delivering outstanding air-quality improvement.

In particular, the ‘Kiturami Geokkuro ECO Condensing Boiler’ incorporates hot-water enhancement technology, increasing hot-water supply by 9% and speeding up hot-water delivery by 25% compared to the previous model. It also features a built-in bypass valve that supplies the appropriate heating water to match various piping structures and heating temperatures, delivering comfortable heating.

Its safety quality is also outstanding. It comes standard with Kiturami’s exclusive dual safety system—a gas-leak detector and an earthquake sensor—so if gas leaks inside the boiler or a strong vibration of intensity 4 or higher is detected, the boiler shuts down to prevent secondary damage, allowing for even greater peace of mind.

A Kiturami Boiler official stated, “We launched this new product to help consumers choose and purchase the product best suited to their installation and usage environment, in line with the mandatory adoption of eco-friendly boilers,” adding, “The Geokkuro ECO Condensing Boiler offers superior hot-water and heating performance compared to previous models, along with economic efficiency and safety, so we expect it to establish itself as the nation’s go-to condensing boiler in the future.”

Meanwhile, the ‘Household Low-NOx Boiler Distribution Support Program,’ carried out by the Ministry of Environment and local governments, provides government subsidies to consumers who replace conventional boilers with eco-friendly boilers that have obtained eco-label certification. This year’s program budget is 51 billion won, supporting the replacement of 350,000 household boilers, including 300,000 units for general households (in the 200,000-won range) and 50,000 units for low-income households (in the 500,000-won range). 02-2694-9292
