A new product from the Italian lighting brand 'Martinelli Luce,' which boasts a history of more than 70 years, is being unveiled. Lighting distributor Globian is officially launching in Korea 'Multidot,' a new Martinelli Luce product first introduced at the 2023 Milan exhibition 'Euroluce.'
Inspired by the chandelier and reinterpreted in a contemporary way, Multidot offers a new direction both in the compositional aspect of its design and in its technical aspect. Multidot can be flexibly configured to suit each environment. Each cable can be arranged freely within a space, generating endless combinations and allowing the creation of a wide variety of arrangements, whether regular or irregular. The number of cables and the number of circular LED lights can be adjusted as desired, making it possible to realize lighting interiors optimized for the space. Above all, Multidot is a highly effective item for creating special spaces. Just as chandeliers of the past anchored the center of spaces where gatherings or parties were held, Multidot has the power to make a space special through freer forms and creative design. Moreover, even in areas that are not the main spaces of a home or building, it can be designed with a different sense of presence wherever the user wishes, allowing dining rooms, hallways, studies, and more to be styled into spaces that draw as much attention as the main areas. Globian, the official Korean importer of Martinelli Luce, will present the Multidot collection for the first time at the Globian booth of the 'Seoul Living Design Fair,' held from February 22 to 25 at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul. With the intention of highlighting the captivating beauty of Multidot at a venue attended by many visitors, the company plans to maximize Multidot's strengths through diverse presentations.
Martinelli Luce, which showcases a wide range of lighting including the newly introduced Multidot presented by Globian, is an Italian lighting brand founded in 1950 by its founder Elio Martinelli. From signature models in which history breathes, such as the 'Pipistrello' lamp, to new models developed in collaboration with renowned designers, the brand leads the global market with a diverse array of lighting. As the official Korean importer of Martinelli Luce, Globian supplies a variety of Martinelli Luce lighting products in Korea. The 'Colibri Collection' supplied by Globian is Martinelli Luce's flagship system lighting series; using a basic module in which an LED bar runs in a straight line along a long black rod, it creates various series such as table lamps, floor lamps, pendants, and wall lamps. The modules are joined by circular magnetic joints, connecting very easily and in many ways using every angle.
Meanwhile, Globian, established in 2001, seeks out distinctive and acclaimed overseas brands, directly importing premium interior lighting brands from Italy and Europe to introduce them to the domestic market. CEO Ahn Jae-hyung explained, "Globian supplies lighting that reflects diverse trends in order to embrace the changes of the times and contribute to positive change in the lighting environment," adding, "Through world-class lighting products each with distinct characteristics, we aim to offer consumers a diversity of choices and deliver the finest brand experience." Globian operates a showroom in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, introducing a wide range of lighting products for general consumers as well as for those in the interior design and architecture-related industries. 02-597-0111
