'Modernique' is an original special wallcovering with rich color expression and differentiated embossing capability. As it can replace existing imported products, it is an item expected to see expanded sales.
Domestically produced special wallcovering Modernique offers superior maintainability, durability, cost-effectiveness, and stability compared to ordinary PVC silk wallcoverings. It uses strong, rigid PVC as the surface material, while the backing is processed with fabric rather than paper, enabling permanent use with a single installation. Considering that 99% of wallcoverings with fabric-finished backing are imported products, expectations are high for it as an import substitute. In particular, it is produced in the Korean standard size of 1,060㎜×15m, effectively reducing the product and labor costs that arise when installing imported products of different sizes.
Modernique can be used semi-permanently, eliminating the need for periodic replacement and maintenance costs. It resists everyday soiling and any soiled areas can be easily removed. In addition, all products undergo pre-flame-retardant treatment to guard against fire, and the products have obtained Europe's CE certification, the U.S. flame-retardant certification, and various domestic environmental certifications. Modernique products are mainly suited for luxury homes, hotels, condos, hospitals, and offices.
Modernique operates sub-brands centered on two main brands: △Modernique Leather (Fabric Backing Vinyl Wallcovering) and △Modernique Non-woven. Modernique Leather consists of Modernique 106, Modernique 137, and Modernique 137 Special, while Modernique Non-woven consists of European Modernique and high-foam paintable wallcovering. Within the Modernique Leather product line, the Modernique Luxury product has additionally been released.
'Modernique Leather Wallcovering 137 Special' is an alternative to premium paint, comprising 500 colors that are difficult for ordinary wallcoverings to express, allowing professionals a wide range of color choices. The product's width is 1,370㎜, identical to that of world-leading brand products. 'Modernique Leather Wallcovering 106' was developed based on the Korean wallcovering width of 106㎜, and the European premium non-woven wallcovering 'European Modernique' is likewise produced at 106㎜ to suit the Korean standard. 02-571-3758
