Dongwha Natural Flooring, the building-materials brand of Dongwha Enterprise, has launched two new products for 2019.
The newly launched products are the fiberboard laminate floor ‘Natus Jin Grande (590×1200×19㎜)’ and the wood-based wall panel ‘Design Wall Grande (295×800X7㎜)’. The two new products are three times larger in dimension than existing products, allowing spaces to be styled in a wide and open manner. To express the wide character of the products and the grandeur of the space felt during installation, the name ‘Grande,’ meaning grand and magnificent, was used. In particular, ‘Design Wall Grande’ is the first large-format product to be introduced in the wood-based wall panel industry.
The patterns of these new products reflect the latest interior design trends, featuring terrazzo, marble and more. ‘Terrazzo’ is a pattern created by finely crushing marble and mixing it with cement, and it is the first such pattern introduced by Dongwha Enterprise in the wood-based building-materials industry. Using a three-dimensional pattern rendering technique, the product surface reproduces the textures of various materials more realistically. When choosing these products, consumers can preserve the textures expressed through terrazzo, marble and the like just as they are, creating a luxurious atmosphere at a reasonable price.
In addition, since both products use eco-friendly materials, there is no concern about harmful substances. ‘Natus Jin Grande’ uses an SE0-grade eco-friendly new material, NAF (Non-Added Formaldehyde) board, as its core material. The SE0 grade has a formaldehyde emission of 0.3mg/L or less, meaning there is virtually no formaldehyde emission. ‘Design Wall Grande’ also uses eco-friendly E0-grade Dongwha Eco Board, so even young children with sensitive and delicate skin can use it with peace of mind.
The products also offer outstanding functionality. Since both new products use a high-strength special coating material on the surface, they are highly resistant to denting, scratching and staining, and are easy to clean. Even if the floor and wall are scribbled on or splashed with food, they can be easily wiped clean, and because they do not soil easily, clean floors and walls can be maintained semi-permanently.
Furthermore, ‘Design Wall Grande’ is a product that has obtained a flame-retardant technology patent, making it safe even in the event of a fire. It is equipped with a function that delays the spread of flames and toxic gases when a fire breaks out.
