DeWalt, the premium professional power-tool brand of Stanley Black & Decker Korea (CEO Hong Seong-wan), has launched the ‘TSTAK IP54’ system toolbox series, comprising 6 models that protect tools from dust and moisture on the job site. In addition, the company released the ‘Drawer-Type Toolbox (DWST83529-1),’ a new addition to the ‘TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 Series,’ completing a toolbox lineup that maximizes convenience for on-site workers.

The 6 new ‘TSTAK IP54’ models are the ‘Toolbox I (DWST83345-1),’ ‘Toolbox II (DWST83344-1),’ and ‘Toolbox VI (DWST83346-1),’ along with the ‘Long Handle Deep (DWST83343-1)’ with an integrated parts organizer, the ‘Mobile Toolbox (DWST83347-1),’ and the ‘3 IN 1 Set (DWST83411-1),’ which combines the mobile toolbox with Toolbox II and a parts organizer. These products stand out for adding IP54-rated dust- and water-resistance to the existing TSTAK toolboxes, allowing them to be used with confidence across a wide range of work-site environments. Through these added features, the new products protect the equipment inside from harmful dust generated at work sites and from water splashed around the site, helping users use the products more safely and for longer. Furthermore, in addition to dust- and water-resistance, the ‘TSTAK IP54’ series enhances the front metal latches and places latches with inserted metal pins on the sides as well, boosting the durability of the toolboxes themselves. In addition, Toolbox I, II, VI, and the Long Handle Deep feature a top handle, making it easy to carry tools and equipment at sites where frequent movement is required.

The ‘Mobile Toolbox (DWST83347-1)’ features 7-inch wheels, allowing even heavy tools frequently used on-site to be stored and transported more easily, with a capacity of up to 50 kg. The handle, adjustable in height up to 100 cm, makes movement and vehicle loading even easier. The ‘TSTAK IP54 3 IN 1 Set (DWST83411-1)’ likewise combines the mobile toolbox, a parts organizer, and Toolbox II, maximizing convenience so that the parts and tools needed on-site can be transported all at once.

These new products are also compatible and can be connected with existing older TSTAK models, allowing users to select and combine toolboxes, parts organizers, mobile toolboxes, and more to suit their needs.

Alongside this, DeWalt has released the ‘TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 Drawer-Type Toolbox (DWST83529-1),’ which boasts outstanding compatibility with its two-tier drawer structure. This product can be easily connected to existing TOUGHSYSTEM 1.0 and 2.0 products via a one-touch locking latch, and it is equipped with a 1/2 compact parts organizer for more practical storage and organization. Designed with ball-bearing slides, the drawers open and close smoothly without much effort.

Hong Seong-wan, CEO of Stanley Black & Decker Korea, said, “The new TSTAK IP54 toolbox series lets on-site workers store their power tools more safely away from site dust and water, and use them conveniently thanks to improved portability and mobility.”
