DEWALT, the premium power tool brand of Stanley Black & Decker Korea (CEO Hong Seong-wan), has launched four professional-grade, high-performance cordless tools and a heat glue gun that enhance work efficiency.
The ‘20V MAX Brushless Compact Impact Driver (DCF850)’ features a self-developed XR brushless motor built with groundbreaking technology. While delivering the same performance as previous models, it boasts the shortest overall length ever—reduced by more than 25% to 101㎜—making work in tight spaces easier. Changes to its structure and component design have improved bit-holding capability, and a bushing bearing that minimizes blade wobble further enhances durability. The ‘20V MAX XR 18GA Cordless Nailer (DCN680)’ is equipped with a high-efficiency brushless motor that extends runtime and motor life. It fires instantly without a separate power button, enabling fast and accurate single- and rapid-fire operation, while its micronose technology provides excellent visibility during firing for precise, detailed work. The pre-installed plastic protective cap prevents wood damage during work. The ‘12V MAX/5.0 Ah Brushless 5.5-inch (140㎜) Circular Saw (DCS512)’ is also equipped with a brushless motor, and with a 5Ah battery it delivers improved performance of up to 80 cuts and a cutting speed of 12.45 seconds. In addition, an LED light, a folding hook that allows easy blade changes and installation, and a rafter hook for convenient storage further enhance ease of use. The ‘1600W 10-inch Wet Tile Cutter (D36000)’ delivers high performance with up to 1.5 horsepower of output and a no-load speed of 4,200 RPM. With a 250㎜ blade diameter and a maximum working capacity of 80㎜ (90 degrees), it can cut up to 940㎜. Its fitted diamond blade and stainless steel rollers enable precise work tailored to user needs on a variety of materials such as concrete, brick, porcelain, and ceramic, while a vise guide that can be fixed at any desired angle and markings for cut lines and bevel angles boost work efficiency.
The ‘240W Professional Rapid Heat Glue Gun (DWHT75098)’ is an MCH (Metal Ceramic Heat) type that heats up quickly within 60 seconds. It also allows high- and low-temperature modes to be set via a temperature control switch, so it can be used efficiently to suit the material and situation. User safety is also ensured through features such as a silicone nozzle guard made with a heat-resistant structure to prevent burns during work, and a heat cut-off function that automatically switches to power-saving mode when not used for 30 minutes.
Hong Seong-wan, CEO of Stanley Black & Decker Korea, said, “These new products combine all three elements—power, precision, and convenience—suited to professional work,” adding, “We will continue to expand our product lineup with worker safety and convenience in mind.” 1577-0933
