DEWALT, the premium professional power tool brand of Stanley Black & Decker Korea (CEO Hong Seong-wan), has launched its ‘two cordless ratchets’ and the ‘20V MAX Cordless Stick Vacuum (DCV501)’ as bare tool products. Alongside them, the company also unveiled the ‘60V MAX FLEXVOLT 5.0Ah Battery (DCB615),’ which features DEWALT’s innovative battery technology.
DEWALT’s ‘two cordless ratchets’ are power tools mainly used across a wide range of maintenance and repair industries—from auto servicing to air conditioners and bicycle repair—and have earned steady popularity among on-site workers. The products are offered as the ‘20V MAX Brushless 1/2-inch Cordless Ratchet (DCF512)’ and the ‘12V MAX Brushless 3/8-inch Cordless Ratchet (DCF503),’ allowing workers to choose according to their needs. The ‘two ratchets’ are characterized by powerful output and performance that let users easily fasten and loosen nuts and bolts on the job site without exerting much force. Not only are they equipped with a compact high-torque brushless motor, but they also deliver powerful maximum torque by enlarging the rotor diameter to maintain a high inertial speed. In terms of maximum torque, the ‘20V MAX Brushless 1/2-inch Cordless Ratchet (DCF512)’ supports up to 94.9Nm, while the ‘12V MAX Brushless 3/8-inch Cordless Ratchet (DCF503)’ supports 81.6Nm. The two ‘cordless ratchets’ have also seen their durability significantly improved to withstand external impacts, and user convenience was given top priority by designing the battery connection in a straight line so that work can be performed flexibly even in tight spaces.
The ‘20V MAX Cordless Stick Vacuum (DCV501)’ is the only jobsite vacuum in the North American and European markets to receive DUST L-CLASS certification. Despite being a cordless vacuum, its strength lies in providing up to 22 minutes of continuous use when fitted with a 5.0Ah battery. Its lightweight, compact design further enhances ease of use. In addition, it is built with an ergonomic over-molded grip design, making it comfortable to use with one hand and slip-free even when operated with gloved hands. In particular, it comes standard with one HEPA filter capable of filtering out more than 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3㎛.
In addition, the ‘60V MAX FLEXVOLT 5.0Ah Battery (DCB615),’ which incorporates DEWALT’s own innovative variable-voltage battery technology, is compatible with all 20V/60V MAX products and lets users check the remaining battery level in real time even while working, making it easier to manage their workload.
