LEDVANCE has launched a new product, the ‘LED Connection Square Ceiling Light.’ The ‘LED Connection Square Ceiling Light’ is a square ceiling luminaire whose four corners are finished with soft curves, creating an atmosphere that is both refined and simple. In particular, its strength is that connection brackets can be used to link two or three units together so they can be used as a single fixture. Depending on the area of each space—such as the living room, a large bedroom, or a small bedroom—it can be installed as a standalone unit at the appropriate brightness, or the included accessories can be used to connect three rectangular (40W) units, or a rectangular (40W) unit with a square (70W) unit, allowing them to be combined and installed in a variety of ways.
The new product is available in two designs—rectangular (520×300 mm / 40W) and square (520×520 mm / 70W)—with the light colors set to warm white (4000K) and daylight (6500K), respectively.
With high outputs of 40W and 70W, the new product illuminates spaces with even brighter light. Light is emitted abundantly and seamlessly all the way to the sides of the luminaire, minimizing dark areas. In addition, it is a Flicker Free product that eliminates backlight flickering, so eyes stay comfortable even during extended use, making it well suited for bedrooms and living rooms.
With the launch of this new product, LEDVANCE plans to further accelerate its push into the residential ceiling light market. Following the ‘Tunable Color & Dimmable LED Ceiling Light’ and the ‘LED Ceiling Light’ released this past April, which have been well received in the market, the company plans to broaden consumers’ choices in residential luminaires even further with the addition of the ‘LED Connection Square Ceiling Light.’
A LEDVANCE official said, “Through the launch of this new product, we have further strengthened our ceiling light lineup and broadened the range of choices for consumers,” adding, “As customization that pursues one’s own lifestyle emerges as a trend in the interior market, we expect that lighting products that can be combined and installed according to the characteristics and lifestyle of each space will also gain popularity.”
Meanwhile, LEDVANCE is a global general lighting company spun off from OSRAM and established in July 2016. Its product range spans a wide spectrum, from traditional lighting such as fluorescent and halogen lamps to next-generation technology lighting including LED lighting, LED luminaires, and smart home products. 02-3420-3700
