Royal Copenhagen, the Danish royal porcelain brand with 247 years of heritage, has unveiled two new pieces of Korean tableware in its ‘Blue Full Lace’ line.

Representing the pinnacle of the porcelain craft, ‘Blue Full Lace’ is the top-tier collection among Royal Copenhagen’s blue hand-painting lines. It is distinguished by the perforated openwork along the rim, meticulously crafted by hand by skilled artisans, and its lace pattern lavishly hand-painted with thousands of brushstrokes.

These new Blue Full Lace pieces, which complete the Korean tableware collection, comprise two items: a ‘rice bowl’ and a ‘soup bowl.’

The ‘rice bowl’ features a lid decorated with a sea-snail shape and a delicate lace pattern that faithfully preserves Royal Copenhagen’s longstanding design heritage, lending it exceptional refinement. The ‘soup bowl’ stands out for its full lace openwork along the rim and the delicate design of the pattern painted onto the porcelain, tracing distinctly Korean curves. Hand-crafted by artisans, the classic hand-painted pattern that fully adorns not only the outer surface but also the inner surface of the bowl adds the utmost elegance to a Korean table setting.

Having introduced Korean tableware since 2013, Royal Copenhagen completes its lineup this year with the launch of the ‘rice bowl’ and ‘soup bowl,’ offering Korean tableware across all eight of its major lines.

To commemorate the completion of its Korean tableware, Royal Copenhagen is introducing a wedding set that includes the new Blue Full Lace Korean rice bowl and soup bowl as the ‘2022 Autumn Royal Wedding Edition.’ In addition to the new pieces that complete an exquisite Korean table setting, the set has been prepared with highly practical items for the newlywed table, such as an oval dish and plates. This autumn season’s Royal Wedding Edition will be sold in limited quantities until October 31.

A representative of Royal Copenhagen Korea said, “It is deeply meaningful to complete our Korean tableware collection this year, roughly a decade after we first introduced it to the Korean market in 2013, following steady expansion,” adding, “We hope you will add the utmost elegance to your Korean table setting with these new Korean tableware pieces from Royal Copenhagen’s premium line.”

In addition, Royal Copenhagen Korea operates a ‘Breakage Warranty Program’ that replaces broken products with new ones, allowing customers to use them with peace of mind every day. Under the Breakage Warranty Program, even if a product breaks during use, it will be exchanged once free of charge for the same product within the two-year warranty period, provided the broken item and the warranty certificate are presented. 02-749-2002
