LEDVANCE (CEO Kim Dae-jin) announced the launch of ‘SMART+CLASSIC,’ an LED smart lamp that can expand lighting infinitely through Internet of Things (IoT) technology.

Its most notable feature is that it supports Bluetooth connectivity on both Android and Apple smart devices, and thanks to its built-in Bluetooth MESH technology, it can wirelessly connect anywhere from dozens to tens of thousands of lights. As a result, smart spaces can be created not only in homes but also in commercial spaces such as stores and offices.

Android and Apple device users simply connect via Bluetooth through the ‘LEDVANCE SMART+’ app. Using the app, users can perform a variety of functions, from controlling individual lights to grouping lights and enabling multiple connections. It also supports Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Apple Siri, so voice control via AI speakers and app control are both possible through each manufacturer’s app.

In addition, the new LED smart lamp allows users to freely adjust not only the on/off state but also the color and brightness through the app. It reproduces 16 million lighting colors and lets users set the color temperature from 2000 to 6500K to suit any situation—from yellowish warm white to bright cool daylight.

With the E26 base type most commonly used in Korea, it perfectly replaces conventional lighting and consumes up to 80% less energy compared to halogen lamps. Furthermore, it contains no mercury, making it environmentally friendly.

A LEDVANCE official said, “Existing smart lamps can connect only up to 10 lights via Bluetooth, but LEDVANCE’s smart lamps can be expanded to as many as desired through advanced Bluetooth MESH technology,” adding, “LEDVANCE will help consumers build smart home environments with even more innovative smart lighting.” 02-3420-3700
