The Bosch Power Tools division (Division Head Park Jin-hong) has launched the professional cordless plunge saw ‘GKT 18V-52 GC Professional,’ a new product powered by its high-performance BITURBO Brushless (hereafter Viturbo) technology.
This new product is the third in the Viturbo series to be released in Korea and offers outstanding motor performance. With high output reaching up to 1620W, it boasts cutting power on par with conventional corded saws. In particular, it delivers maximum efficiency when used together with Bosch’s premium battery, the ProCORE18V.
In addition, its compact design and work-assist features stand out. By minimizing the distance between the wall and the blade to 10 mm, it allows work closer to the wall than any other product in its class. The blade angle can be precisely adjusted from -1 degrees to 47 degrees, and a blade marker on the product’s base plate makes it easy to check the blade’s current position while cutting. It also features connectivity functions, allowing the plunge saw to link with the Bosch Toolbox app via Bluetooth.
The product interface is intuitive and convenient. Through the tool display (HMI), the operator can adjust the operating speed or easily change work modes. Using Eco mode, which optimizes battery consumption for simple tasks, can extend operating time by up to 20%. Furthermore, the interface border is displayed in green/yellow/red depending on the tool’s overheating status, helping ensure safe tool use. In addition, a dust bag or vacuum hose can be connected to the dust extraction adapter, and the tool is compatible with Bosch’s ‘FSN Guide Rail’ system, making it optimized for precise work.
