Bosch's Power Tools division (headed by Division Director Park Jin-hong) has launched the 'GAL 18V6-80 Professional,' a multi-battery charger that sequentially charges six Bosch professional batteries.
This new product is Bosch Power Tools' first six-bay multi-charger, designed to enable battery charging for professional jobs that require the use of cordless tools over extended periods. With an 8Ah charging current, it can charge up to six batteries in sequence, supporting a smooth power supply during work. Thanks in particular to its powerful charging performance, it charges a single unit of Bosch's premium ProCORE18V 8Ah battery to 80% in just 42 minutes and to 100% in 68 minutes.
In addition, the product features functions that maximize charging efficiency. It employs a two-stage charging method: in the first stage, all six batteries are charged evenly up to 80%, and in the second stage, the remaining 20% is topped off to full. Compared with charging batteries one at a time up to 100% in sequence, this approach charges up to 30% more within the same amount of time, quickly making multiple batteries available for use. Furthermore, if there is a battery you want to charge first, you can adjust the priority by pressing the 'priority charging' button. On top of this, the battery charger offers outstanding ease of use. Each charging socket has an LED charging indicator, allowing you to check the charging progress at a glance. The charging cable can be securely wound and stored on the product's handle, and with a separate attachment accessory, the charger can be mounted on top of a Bosch L-Boxx for transport—another key advantage.
