Samsung Electronics 'Bespoke Wind-Free Air Conditioner Fit Home'

Samsung Electronics has launched the 'Bespoke Wind-Free Air Conditioner Fit Home,' a home-multi air conditioner that can connect up to three units to a single outdoor unit.

The Bespoke Wind-Free Air Conditioner Fit Home is a new-concept home-multi product that adds a ceiling-type air conditioner to the conventional home-multi lineup, which consisted of stand-type and wall-mounted air conditioners.

The two-unit package comprises one stand type, one ceiling type, and one outdoor unit, while the three-unit package comprises one stand type, one wall-mounted type, one ceiling type, and one outdoor unit, or one stand type, two ceiling types, and one outdoor unit.

A key feature is that a drop-ceiling kit enables ceiling-type air conditioners to be installed even in places where installation was previously difficult due to insufficient space inside the ceiling. In particular, the Bespoke Wind-Free Air Conditioner Fit Home allows air conditioners to be installed more easily because the scope of construction can be reduced when there are embedded pipes in the living room, master bedroom, and other areas.

The Bespoke Wind-Free Air Conditioner Fit Home helps ease the burden of summer electricity bills. Operating all three air conditioners in 'Wind-Free Mode' can reduce power consumption by up to 72% compared with 'Powerful Cooling.' In addition, using the 'AI Energy Saving Mode' provided through 'SmartThings' automatically saves up to 20% of power consumption by applying a suppression algorithm when overcooling is detected.

Beyond this, it offers all the advantages of a Wind-Free air conditioner, including the 'Easy Care' function that lets the unit hygienically manage itself and perform self-cleaning of components that are otherwise difficult to clean, and the 'Clean Air' function that removes not only ultrafine dust but also harmful airborne bacteria.

The Bespoke Wind-Free Air Conditioner Fit Home is available in Natural White, with cooling areas of 62.6㎡ for the stand-type air conditioner, 18.7㎡ for the wall-mounted air conditioner, and 18.7㎡ for the ceiling-type air conditioner. The factory price ranges from 6.3 million to 7.54 million won depending on the type and combination, and may vary according to the installation environment.
