Smart lock manufacturer Solity has simultaneously launched two new products through TANK, its offline-exclusive brand.

The newly launched products are the ‘P7000-V’ smart door lock, which applies 3D palm vein recognition technology, and the ‘G10’ glass-door door lock specialized for commercial spaces. Targeting residential and commercial security respectively, they are drawing attention as next-generation security solutions that reflect customer UX. First, the ‘P7000-V’ is a next-generation smart door lock equipped with contactless biometric authentication technology that recognizes palm veins in 3D. The vein recognition technology applied to the ‘P7000-V’ is a high-precision authentication method that identifies the vascular pattern inside the palm, making forgery, alteration, and theft virtually impossible. In particular, it enables accurate recognition even with wet or sweaty hands, enhancing usability, and thereby achieves both high security and authentication convenience without any contact. This product is equipped with a deep-learning-based vein recognition algorithm independently developed by Solity, providing a fast recognition speed of within 0.7 seconds and a wide recognition range with a field of view (FOV) of 76.0 degrees. In addition, by applying an algorithm optimized for domestic door lock usage environments, it has significantly improved core door lock performance such as recognition speed, recognition distance, and current consumption.

In terms of user experience, it is designed so that anyone can use it easily. Through an IR sensor, recognition takes place automatically as soon as the user approaches the door lock and places their palm on it, so that users who were previously restricted by conventional authentication methods—such as elderly people with worn fingerprints, homemakers, and children unfamiliar with operating devices—can use it more easily and accurately. Through this, Solity realizes its smart security philosophy of ‘All-access Security’—authentication for everyone, without touch—and presents a next-generation security solution that balances technology and inclusivity.

The ‘G10’ is a door lock exclusively for commercial glass doors, designed with consideration for the characteristics of glass entrance doors that are exposed to external environments for extended periods. The product dramatically improves the touchpad cracking problem caused by ultraviolet rays and temperature changes, which had been a limitation of conventional glass-door door locks. The anti-crack keypad uses impact-resistant and flexible polycarbonate material, and with a hairline finish featuring fine grooves that induce diffuse reflection of ultraviolet rays, along with a sophisticated black color and metallic texture, it satisfies both robust durability and design value even in outdoor environments. It is also fully equipped with security and convenience functions. In terms of functionality, it features patented auto-rotating keypad technology that can cover both left-opening and right-opening doors, and is designed with a wing-type structure that can be stably fixed and installed on glass doors, further strengthening installability. In addition, by applying a patented chime bell function for notifying customer entry and a spin-type deadbolt that is difficult to cut, it enhances both the security and practicality of commercial spaces. 1588-3641
