Smart Catch, a brand of Innotech Co., Ltd., a Korean company specializing in pest-control solutions, launched its new insect traps 'Lumio' and 'Lumio Keeper' simultaneously this past May, creating a fresh stir in the indoor and outdoor pest-control market.
The new 'Lumio' is an indoor insect trap aimed at small business owners, featuring a minimalist wall-mounted design and mercury-free, eco-friendly LED lamps that satisfy both interior aesthetics and functionality. In particular, it offers a customization feature that allows a business name, logo, or photos to be printed on the front at the user's request, drawing attention as a product optimized for small business settings such as restaurants, cafés, and unmanned stores. Launched alongside it, the 'Lumio Keeper' is a B2B-exclusive outdoor insect trap that inherits Lumio's exterior concept while incorporating technology optimized for outdoor environments. Featuring Innotech's proprietary Smart Keeper UV LED patented technology, it attracts pests and then rapidly eliminates them through a fan rotation and cutting system, and includes a variety of intelligent features such as a guide structure to lure surviving pests, a spider-removal function, and time and seasonal setting functions. Both products operate silently, consume little power, and have a lamp lifespan more than three times longer than conventional UV-A lamps, making them efficient in terms of maintenance. In addition, all lamps use domestic components to ensure quality and reliability.
An Innotech official said, "These two new products are evolving beyond simple pest capture into design-centered pest-control solutions that take space and brand into account," adding, "Lumio and Lumio Keeper are the culmination of Smart Catch's technological capabilities and customized customer service, and will mark the beginning of a premium insect trap lineup spanning both indoor and outdoor use."
