Stanley, the power tool and hand tool brand of Stanley Black & Decker Korea (CEO Hong Seong-wan), is introducing a new product lineup with a wide range of applications, from professional handicrafts to precise wiring work.
These new products are two items: the ‘20V MAX Cordless Multi-Purpose Engraver (SCE030)’ and the ‘20V MAX Cordless Soldering Iron (SCE040).’ The new products have been released as part of the ‘FATMAX V20 Series,’ which offers high-output, high-efficiency performance based on the company’s outstanding proprietary technology. In addition, thanks to FATMAX motor and battery technology, they deliver excellent work efficiency while minimizing battery self-discharge, and boast an even longer lifespan with no memory effect. Furthermore, the two new products are designed with a separable battery and body, adding to work convenience. A key advantage is the 1.2m long cable connecting the body and battery, which allows a wide working space to be utilized, while an excellent weight balance reduces the physical strain on the user.
Ease of use is also outstanding. Both products feature a dial-adjustment method, allowing core functions to be operated quickly and easily with just one hand during work. Power strength can be adjusted from a minimum of 6,700 RPM up to a maximum of 34,000 RPM. In addition, they come standard with 33 accessories, including a 12-slot bit holder, engraving blades, a grinder, and sanding attachments, so the head can be easily swapped according to the purpose of the work, enabling a variety of tasks. They are also equipped with safety features for the user. In the case of the ‘20V MAX Cordless Soldering Iron (SCE040),’ the working temperature can be adjusted from a minimum of 204℃ to a maximum of 482℃, enabling more precise work. In particular, it enhances safety by providing an integrated steel holder that can safely rest the body, which carries a high risk of burns. It is also characterized by improved usability, featuring a sponge tray that allows soldering debris—which gets messy during work—to be removed at any time, and a 6.35㎜ (1/8”) 2-slot tip holder for storing spare tips.
A Stanley product manager said, “These two new products are a new lineup that combines excellent performance, ease of use, and durability by applying FATMAX motors and batteries, which incorporate Stanley’s own enhanced proprietary technology.” 02-3016-9200
