EAGON Windows is launching the ‘Façade Series’ (EWW 150), a slim multi system window that combines the advantages of curtain walls and system windows.
The ‘Façade Series’ unveiled by EAGON Windows this time is a product aimed at the recent trend toward large-area slim windows in the construction market. It is a multi system window that can realize large-area windows measuring up to 2.3 m wide and 3.6 m high while maintaining thermal insulation and airtightness performance.
The ‘Façade Series’ has been developed with slim vertical and horizontal frame thicknesses of 30 mm and 20 mm respectively, so that a modern architectural façade can be achieved. In addition, it offers the high durability as well as the excellent thermal insulation and airtightness performance that are the strengths of aluminum system windows, satisfying both the airy openness of large-area windows and high energy efficiency at the same time. In particular, when EAGON Windows’ next-generation high-performance glass ‘Super Vacuum Glass’ is applied, it achieves thermal insulation and airtightness performance on par with an Energy Consumption Efficiency Grade 1 rating.
Furthermore, the ‘Façade Series’ is applied by installing the product between concrete slabs, allowing both finished-product shipment and on-site Knock-Down assembly depending on site conditions, making construction and maintenance easier than with a curtain wall. In addition, it can be combined with system windows featuring various opening methods such as Lift & Sliding and Turn & Tilt, which is cited as an advantage in that customers can freely compose the architectural façade they want.
An EAGON Windows official said, “When combined with the recently launched Grandview Series and Passive Series, the new product can be applied in a variety of ways, including small commercial buildings, officetels, high-end detached houses, and small residential multi-unit buildings,” adding, “The Façade Series, which offers excellent thermal insulation and airtightness performance in a slim design, will serve as a reasonable alternative for building owners who have hesitated over curtain wall installation due to its high cost.”
Meanwhile, ‘EAGON Windows’ is a premium system window company that has built consumer trust based on outstanding technological capabilities ever since it first introduced aluminum system windows in Korea in 1988. 1522-1271
