Shinsegae Casa has launched ‘Materasso Forest Cloud H,’ a new hard-type mattress from its sleep specialty brand ‘MATERASSO.’
‘Materasso Forest Cloud H’ is part of the ‘Materasso Forest Collection,’ a line of eco-friendly premium mattresses whose products have all earned the Ministry of Environment's Eco-Label certification. It features horse tail (horsehair), a top-grade natural material used in European royal mattresses since the 19th century, to deliver an even more comfortable and healthy sleep environment. ‘Horse tail’ is hair drawn from a horse's tail; because it does not absorb water, it is highly resistant to moisture and offers excellent air circulation. As a result, it quickly absorbs the sweat you shed while sleeping and dries it out, helping to maintain a proper body temperature. It also has outstanding elasticity that effectively distributes body weight, along with strong durability that allows for long-term use. In addition, five layers are stacked to firmly support the entire body: natural latex with excellent elasticity, flexibility, and resilience; coir with breathability and temperature-regulating functions; support hard foam that offers superior durability and resilience and has earned domestic vegan certification; and ultra high-resilience foam with strong elasticity and support. Along with this, the top layer uses natural wool and alpaca wool, which offer excellent warmth retention, moisture absorption, and antibacterial properties, while the outer cover that wraps the entire mattress uses linen and Tencel fabric, so even sensitive skin can use it with peace of mind.
