KCC (CEO Chung Mong-jin) has launched 'Royal Enamel,' an indoor/outdoor enamel paint that can be applied to buildings, furniture, and more.
The newly launched 'Royal Enamel' is an air-drying paint based primarily on alkyd resin, and is characterized by faster drying and superior hiding power compared to conventional 'enamel paint.' As a result, it thoroughly covers the surface of steel or wood, making it easy to achieve the desired color on the painted surface and to create an elegant, refined appearance with a graceful gloss. Designed as a finishing coating for steel and wood, it is recommended for high-end interior and exterior sites, children's playgrounds, and commercial facilities.
In particular, while conventional 'enamel paint' was difficult to use indoors due to its characteristic strong odor, 'Royal Enamel' reduces the odor with added floral and fruity scents, making it suitable for indoor use, and despite being an oil-based paint, it can be easily applied by anyone without reluctance. In addition, 'Royal Enamel paint' not only protects steel and wood from various external factors, but also offers antibacterial (E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus), antiviral (Pseudomonas virus phi6: DSM21518), and anti-mold (Aspergillus brasiliensis, Penicillium funicculosum, Chaetomium globosum, Trichoderma Virens, Aureobasidium pullulans) resistance, and holds the 'Indoor Mark' issued by the Ministry of Environment certifying it as a product safe for indoor application.
In addition, 'Royal Enamel' can be ordered in the color and gloss desired by the consumer through color matching, and its packaging is available in 1LT, 3.78LT, and 18LT options, allowing for economical purchases according to the area to be painted.
A KCC official stated, "Royal Enamel is a product in high demand at job sites thanks to its excellent workability and fast drying. Currently only semi-gloss and matte finishes have been released, but a high-gloss product will also be launched soon."
