IMESAC Co., Ltd., Korea's only company specializing in cordless power tools, announced that it is preparing to launch new products in 2022 for a variety of voltage classes and industries, reflecting user environments based on customer requirements gathered through its field-proven Orange Test Group.
Guided by its slogan pursuing 'freely wireless technology anytime, anywhere (Power of Freedom),' IMESAC launched Korea's first 21.6V series in 2018. In 2022, it will release the ▲Impact Driver (BL22M816), ▲Impact Wrench (BL22Q816), and ▲Angle Grinder (BL22G906), all upgraded in output, weight, and user convenience compared with the previous first-generation products.
The 21.6V series lineup, focused on output performance, is the result of accurately identifying and concentrating on the demands consumers want. Currently, most 21.6V users are satisfied with the stronger and more powerful 21.6V products, and IMESAC is planning to launch an even wider range of new products in line with customer requests.
In addition, to build a new garden tool lineup, the company plans to release a ▲36V grass trimmer and a ▲36V blower, and will also reinforce its lightweight lineup, starting with ▲14.4V pruning shears and extending to products such as a ▲chainsaw.
IMESAC explained, "For our new product launches, we gather the voice of the customer through user environment surveys and thorough field testing, and we plan to release highly refined products based on our own domestic technology. Compatibility with existing products is also a major advantage. With technology already recognized by landscaping and orchard businesses through Korea's first 14.4V pruning shears, IMESAC is now bringing a fresh wind to various orchard pruning and farm maintenance work."
Furthermore, IMESAC—an absolute leader in Korea's 14.4V cordless power tool market—plans to release ▲14.4V sheet metal shears and a ▲die grinder to strengthen its own proprietary voltage-class lineup. The company said it will strive to bring more compatible tools to the market that focus on better products and battery utilization for consumers, increasing compatibility and providing a total 14.4V solution.
The 2022 new products will be introduced through online and offline customer touchpoints—such as IMESAC's YouTube channel, the Orange Power Road Show, and the Kyunghyang Housing Fair exhibition—featuring the products' key strengths and live demonstrations. Through the Orange Experience event, the company will offer many benefits and hands-on opportunities to get one step closer to customers.

At the center of securing its original technology, IMESAC has secured manufacturing competitiveness through in-house design and internalization of key components—the BLDC motor, high-efficiency gearbox, and BLDC switch module. To shorten new product development periods and, amid the recent expansion of products using BLDC motors, to secure its own original technology and respond to customer needs, IMESAC made facility investments to manufacture BLDC motors in-house. It has secured and completed the internalization of the BL22 series switch technology, and by introducing CNC lathe and MCT machining equipment, it has established a machining quality system for gear components.
