Younglim Timber (CEO Hwang Bok-hyun) has launched its flame-retardant 'Tembaruba,' offering a solution that combines both fire safety and interior design.
As fire safety standards for buildings have recently been strengthened, Younglim Timber is presenting products that prevent the spread of fire and place customer safety as the top priority through the development of high-quality, flame-retardant materials. The new product 'Tembaruba' allows a Temba design to be installed in a louver format, and boasts a simple structure in which the materials fit together for installation without any separate connecting fittings. The new product enables a clean finish with no visible tacker marks, and its use of eco-friendly wood materials means it can be safely applied even to large wall surfaces.
In addition, Younglim Timber's 'Tembaruba' is notable for being available in a variety of designs that make stylish and sophisticated wall arrangements possible. It also offers high versatility, as it can be applied to a wide range of spaces—used as a point wall or as the wall behind a bed headboard, for example—and can easily transform an interior's atmosphere with just simple installation. In particular, the flame-retardant 'Tembaruba' serves to curb the spread of flames in the event of a fire, making it suitable as an interior material not only for residential spaces but also for commercial spaces and public facilities.
Younglim Design Research Institute stated, "Through product development that thoroughly complies with the strengthened fire safety laws, we are committed to ongoing research and quality improvement so that customers can create even safer spaces," adding, "We will continue to introduce products that combine both functionality and design, leading the trends of the interior market."
Meanwhile, Younglim Timber thoroughly manages quality through a one-stop production process system that handles everything at once—from raw material receipt to production, assembly, delivery, and service. 1577-5600
