Organic Tree Co., Ltd. (CEO Kyung Woon-seop) is making a full-scale entry into the eco-friendly functional building materials market with the launch of its integrated brand 'Namu&Care.'
The company plans to innovate its distribution process by shifting its existing supplier-oriented wallpaper dealership sales network toward distribution aimed at general consumers and interior contractors, making it easier for customers to access natural wallpaper. In addition, to improve customer accessibility, it has opened an offline showroom in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and renewed the 'Namu&Care' integrated brand website.
In March 2020, Organic Tree sold Jeil Wallpaper, a manufacturer of silk and duplex wallpaper, to KS Wallpaper as a corporate entity, and has since distributed its existing natural wallpaper 'Namu' products to Jeil Wallpaper in a supplier capacity. Going forward, the natural wallpaper product lines 'Namu' and 'Namu Plus' will be consolidated and operated under 'Namu&Care Wallpaper.' With the number of customers directly purchasing eco-friendly interior materials rapidly increasing recently, the 'Namu&Care' brand is expected to see gains in brand awareness and sales. In fact, last year Organic Tree's sales through B2C operations increased by more than 100% compared to the previous year.
The company is also expanding its offline points of contact. Through the showroom opened last month, Organic Tree plans to strengthen its sales and marketing with light home-furnishing eco-friendly interior materials and finishes. In addition to wallpaper, it will supply eco-friendly functional material solutions at reasonable prices, including ▲Forbo Korea's Marmoleum, ▲flooring from Belgium's 'Quick-Step,' and ▲the launch of its own home-furnishing brand.
