Hyundai Livart has launched two wardrobe lines whose various modules can be combined to suit individual interior tastes and living environments.
Total interior company Hyundai Livart announced the release of its new wardrobes, 'New Karen' and 'Unite.'
A key feature of the new products is that customers can select from a variety of internal and external modules. A Hyundai Livart official said, "Most existing modular wardrobes on the market allowed customers to choose only internal modules, such as shelf heights or the number of drawer units, but with these two new products customers can select and combine a wide range of external modules as well, to match their tastes and living environment."
For New Karen, customers can choose from △powder-room type △full-length mirror type △clothing-care type modules, while for Unite they can choose from △TV type △mini powder-room type △dressing-room type modules.
New Karen's flagship product is the powder-room type, in which one section of the wardrobe can be used as a vanity instead of storage space. The vanity mirror can be chosen as either an LED-lit mirror or a regular mirror, and pendant lighting can be selected as an additional option. The vanity can also be chosen as either a standing type or a sitting type to suit one's taste, and its width can be selected as either 600㎜ or 800㎜. Factoring in the three color options, the powder-room type alone offers as many as 48 possible combinations.
In addition, New Karen's full-length mirror type module attaches a full-length mirror to the wardrobe door, while the clothing-care type replaces one section of the wardrobe with storage space for a clothing-care appliance.
Unite's flagship product is the TV type module, which leaves the center of the wardrobe open so that a stand-type or wall-mounted TV can be installed. When placing an ordinary TV stand in the master bedroom, it is difficult to add extra storage cabinets on that wall, but Unite makes efficient use of the wall as storage space.
Unite can also be connected and installed with the 'Unite Dressing Room' product to enhance the usability of a dressing room. Adding a wardrobe module to an ordinary hanger-style dressing room makes it easy to store bulky comforters or clothing made of light-sensitive materials.
For the drawers of both new products, Hyundai Livart applied the 'Damping Underrail' from Germany's Hettich. The Damping Underrail is a premium component that lets drawers open and close smoothly, offering excellent safety.
A Hyundai Livart official said, "A distinctive feature of these two new products is that, beyond serving as wardrobes, they can simultaneously function as other pieces of furniture such as a vanity or TV stand, thereby improving space efficiency," adding, "We plan to continue introducing a variety of practical new products that satisfy customers' increasingly diverse interior tastes."
The new products are available at Hyundai Livart's offline stores nationwide and at its official online mall, 'Livart Mall' (https://www.hyundailivart.co.kr).
