According to the National Fire Agency, fires large and small last year reached a total of 38,244 incidents. Eagon Windows' 'Aluminum System Insulated Fire-Rated Window (EWS 75 OW FR)' uses specially tempered glass designed to resist deformation or rupture from high heat, with the window frame made of aluminum whose quality and durability have been verified. In particular, the thermal expansion straps inserted into the sash and frame rapidly expand more than 30 times in the event of a fire, completely filling any gaps to block the movement and penetration of flames and smoke, thereby preventing the spread of fire. In addition, the nano-composite insulation inserted into the frame combines fire performance that absorbs the heat of the flames with insulation performance. In June 2023, it passed the performance test for the fire-rated window standard of 20 minutes or more of integrity (non-insulation) — the fire-resistance test of the glazed section conducted by the Korea Institute of Building Materials Testing (KICM) — on both the interior and exterior sides, verifying the window's thermal insulation and airtightness.
Meanwhile, this past December, Eagon Windows' PVC System Insulated Fire-Rated Window (PWS 85 TT FR) passed the fire test of the Korea Institute of Building Materials Testing, drawing attention within the industry.
