Health care appliance company CERAGEM has launched the 'CERAGEM Balance' water ionizer, which has received medical device certification from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
The 'CERAGEM Balance' is distinguished by its use of electrolysis to generate alkaline ionized water with a pH of 8.6 to 9.5, helping to improve the four major gastrointestinal symptoms, including indigestion, hyperacidity, abnormal fermentation in the stomach, and chronic diarrhea. The new product allows users to set the pH level, temperature, and dispensing volume individually, and it provides personalized services, including tracking what kind of water and how much has been consumed throughout the day. Linked to an Internet of Things (IoT) app, it provides individual consumption reports and adds features such as drinking-time reminders, helping users build healthy drinking-water habits optimized to their lifestyle patterns. In addition, the 'CERAGEM Balance' incorporates a range of technologies, including a direct-flow system, to provide water in a fresher state. A direct-flow system has been adopted for cold, hot, purified, and alkaline water alike; the direct-flow pipes through which water passes are periodically cleaned with electrolyzed water, and the dispensing cock is automatically sterilized every five days using UV-C wavelengths. Furthermore, the filter—the most important element in maintaining water purifier hygiene—removes harmful substances such as heavy metals and bacteria through four-stage composite nano technology, allowing for worry-free use. A number of features have also been introduced to enhance user convenience, such as the filter replacement method. The filter is positioned at the front for easy self-maintenance, and the product also supports ▲an LCD touchscreen control ▲a cold and hot water kids' lock for child safety ▲a voice guidance function.
In addition, the 'CERAGEM Balance' realizes a modern, white-colored aesthetic exterior based on CERAGEM's unique design philosophy of Simple Perfection, allowing it to harmonize with interior décor. The 'CERAGEM Balance' won a main prize in the Brand & Communication category at the '2023 Red Dot Design Award'.
