The Bosch Power Tools division has launched the ‘GSR 18V-90 FC,’ a professional multi-purpose cordless drill/driver that lets users prepare for any job through easy attachment changes.
This new product features Bosch's FlexiClick system, which allows a variety of adapters to be conveniently attached and detached depending on the task. As a single cordless tool, it can serve multiple purposes—as a screwdriver, drill/driver, rotary hammer and more—making it well suited to professional work.
The metal angle chuck adapter ‘GFA 18-WM’ included in the full kit enables work close to edges and walls, delivering great flexibility when working in tight spaces or in areas near walls. The corner adapter ‘GFA 18-E’ enables precise work in cramped spaces or corners where using a tool is difficult, and attaching the hammer adapter ‘GFA 18-H’ turns it into an SDS-plus rotary hammer capable of hammer drilling into concrete up to 10 mm. With a short head length of 136 mm and a maximum hard torque of 64 Nm, it can be used as a compact yet powerful tool. This makes it suitable for all kinds of screwdriving and drilling work in wood, metal, concrete (with the GFA 18-H attached), stone and more.
In addition, the new product is equipped with features for user safety and convenience. It provides a ‘Kickback Control’ function that automatically stops the tool to prevent injury to the operator in the event of recoil caused by sudden overload, as well as ‘Electronic Motor Protection’ (EMP), which prevents motor overload. It also adds a ‘Precision Clutch’ function that stops operation once a preset torque is reached, protecting the surface of materials while reducing product wear and noise.
