Bosch's Power Tools division (led by division head Park Jin-hong) has launched the BITURBO 18V cordless reciprocating saw 'GSA 18V-32-2 Professional,' which excels at cutting tough metal and wood.
This new product is equipped with Bosch's high-performance BITURBO brushless motor, and its output is maximized when used together with Bosch's premium battery, the ProCORE18V. In addition, the new product delivers output on par with a 1300W corded reciprocating saw, and offers powerful cutting performance with a no-load speed of 3,000 rpm and a stroke length of 32 mm. This makes it suitable for cutting all kinds of metal—such as steel, cast iron, stainless steel, and copper—as well as wood, along with materials like sheets, pipes, and beams. Furthermore, its Adaptive Speed Control feature starts the tool at a slow speed and increases the speed once it begins cutting the material. Along with this, its ergonomic handle, designed to fit the contours of the hand, enhances control. It is also equipped with various safety features for the operator. A Kickback Control function is applied, which automatically stops operation to prevent accidents when the saw blade catches on foreign objects during work. This not only improves operator safety but also helps minimize damage to the saw blade, aiding in cost savings from blade replacement. In addition, safety is enhanced with a Stop Control function that stops operation the moment the saw blade comes out of the material, and a Vibration Control function that reduces the vibration generated during work to relieve fatigue. On top of this, its simple user interface (HMI) allows the operation status of each function to be checked intuitively, and its 180-degree LED lighting makes it convenient to use even in dark environments.
A Bosch Power Tools official said, "This new product significantly boosts work performance by improving the output and safety of the existing GSA 18V-32," adding, "Beyond performance, we paid attention to detailed features to reduce the work fatigue caused by reciprocating saw cutting."
