Bosch Power Tools (Division Head Park Jin-hong), a global leader in the power tools field, has launched three professional angle grinders (‘GWS 700’, ‘GWS 18V-11 S’, and ‘GWS 18V-15 S’).
First, the new corded grinder ‘GWS 700 (100㎜)’ is a model focused on work efficiency, equipped with a powerful motor that maintains outstanding performance even under heavy loads, delivering a high material removal rate. In addition, its dual air-intake design maximizes airflow to improve motor cooling, enabling uninterrupted operation even during extended use. The new cordless angle grinders ‘GWS 18V-11 S (100㎜, 125㎜)’ and ‘GWS 18V-15 S (100, 125㎜)’ are models that combine the convenience of cordless operation with powerful performance, work efficiency, durability, and safety. In particular, they feature enhanced safety with a range of functions that minimize hazards during operation, including a ‘Kickback Control’ function that immediately stops operation if the tool catches on foreign material, a ‘Drop Control’ function that stops the tool if it falls to the ground, and an ‘Intelligent Brake’ function that stops the disc within two seconds of releasing the switch. In addition, the speed can be adjusted in six stages to suit the task, and the anti-vibration handle reduces user fatigue. The ‘GWS 18V-11 S’ can be used for a wide range of applications, from simple tasks such as deburring, maintenance, and repair to general cutting and grinding work. The ‘GWS 18V-15 S’ is designed with the output of a 1500W corded tool, making it suitable for cutting large workpieces such as rebar and concrete over 20㎜ thick, as well as grinding work to finish surfaces.
