Gazzotti Korea is drawing industry attention with the launch of a diverse range of reclaimed-wood products, including reclaimed-wood solid flooring, wall paneling, stair materials, and furniture.
Born from a collaboration between Gazzotti’s headquarters and premier Italian reclaimed-wood makers, the new products are all supplied as original, finished Italian goods. The highly unique and creative designs that can only be found in reclaimed wood carry a rarity that is truly one of a kind. Because the wood grain characteristic of reclaimed timber never produces the same pattern in any two pieces, it lets you create your own original interior. In particular, the reclaimed-wood furniture—including tables, bookcases, chairs, and display cabinets—is all offered as finished pieces, so customers can purchase right away without a long wait, and custom production is also available according to the desired design.
The reclaimed-wood products launched this time are premium-grade even among Italian reclaimed woods. Among them, the pieces reborn as interior furniture by upcycling ‘bricole’—the perforated timber posts seen in Venice, Italy—stand out for the distinctive beauty of the rough reclaimed wood, delivering the feel of a work of art.
Park Jung-ho, CEO of Gazzotti Korea, said, “There has been steady consumer demand for differentiated reclaimed-wood products, and we were finally able to find the reclaimed-wood products we had been looking for and bring them into the domestic market. Given how strong the consumer demand has been, the new products should be able to establish themselves stably in the domestic market within two to three years.”
In addition to its reclaimed-wood products, Gazzotti Korea is also introducing an Italian eco-friendly adhesive for flooring and an inter-floor noise-prevention pad. In particular, the noise-prevention pad can be installed over existing flooring, so it is expected to serve a wider variety of uses—for customers who want to transform a space without demolition, or for places that require versatile use of space. Gazzotti Korea is currently producing YouTube content to promote its new products and plans to continue active promotional activities by participating in various exhibitions in the first half of next year.
Holds the largest inventory of European flooring in Korea; large materials outlet set to open
Last year, Gazzotti Korea’s products were applied to projects by major construction companies including Samsung C&T, Hoban Construction, GS E&C, and Dongbu Construction—earning recognition for their safety and achieving the remarkable feat of roughly 10 billion won in sales from solid-wood flooring alone. In addition, by holding the largest inventory of European flooring in Korea, it enables customers to receive products without waiting, and it is raising customer satisfaction with responsible after-sales service that follows through whenever problems arise. It has also opened an approximately 330㎡ showroom in Nonhyeon-dong where customers can see and compare products in person, earning favorable reviews from the industry.
Beyond this, in line with Gazzotti Korea’s conviction that a company must accurately grasp customer needs and keep pace with the times in order to grow steadily, it is achieving a generational shift with young talent within the company and taking a fresh leap forward. CEO Park Jung-ho said, “Going forward, to expand sales and grow the overall scale of the business, we plan to separate flooring materials from installation to further enhance our expertise,” adding, “In 2022, we will do our utmost to further raise awareness of the Gazzotti solid-wood flooring brand and, on the foundation of product stability and reliability, strive to become the No. 1 in the solid-wood flooring industry.”
Meanwhile, in addition to its Nonhyeon-dong showroom, Gazzotti Korea plans to open a large materials outlet of about 2,500㎡ (757 pyeong) on the outskirts of Seoul in the second half of next year. The outlet store plans to welcome customers by expanding beyond existing flooring products to a wide variety of items. 02-540-0886
