The Bosch Power Tools division (Division Head Park Jin-hong) announced the launch of the 'IXO 6 (Green, Pink),' an ultra-compact cordless screwdriver equipped with a speed control function.
The newly launched 'IXO 6' is the sixth series in the existing IXO line, with greatly improved convenience. In particular, the 'IXO 6' is equipped with a new digital electronic function that allows speed control via the trigger. The harder the trigger is pressed, the faster the speed, allowing the user to intuitively control the tool at the desired speed for effortless work. The speed control function helps prevent mistakes such as splitting wood or scratching surfaces during work.
Newly applied under the motto of 'maximum simplicity,' the design of the 'IXO 6' greatly enhances convenience and intuitiveness. While maintaining the iconic shape of the existing IXO series, the motor and gearbox are placed at the prominent front section, intuitively upgrading the product's function and design. In addition, the grip is made of anti-slip material and features a soft-grip coating, making it easy to hold and control with one hand. The intuitive design of the 'IXO 6' was recognized at the 2019 iF Design Award, one of the world's three major awards. The product case has also been changed from the previous soft bag to a colorful hard case, making it easy to store and, from the seller's perspective, easy to display and stack the product.
The 'IXO 6' also features various convenience functions in its details. Three LED lights on the top of the product make it easy to check the remaining battery level at a glance, and the frequently used direction-change button is positioned so it can be pressed quickly and easily with the thumb. In addition, a micro USB charging system allows for easy charging, and a front LED light makes it possible to work even in dark working environments. Furthermore, the 'IXO 6' is equipped with an adapter interface that allows various adapters to be attached, enabling users to work efficiently according to their purpose.
