Stanley, the power tool and hand tool brand of Stanley Black & Decker Korea (CEO Hong Seong-wan), has launched two bare-tool products for the summer season: the ‘20V MAX Rechargeable Fan (SCF001)’ and the ‘20V MAX Rechargeable Air Inflator (SCE520),’ which can inflate outdoor gear and various means of transport.
The ‘20V MAX Rechargeable Fan (SCF001)’ helps workers who are easily exposed directly to high outdoor temperatures to work with greater efficiency even in sweltering weather, and its rechargeable design allows free mobility, making it convenient to use for summer camping and outdoor activities. The product generates powerful wind with an airflow of 400 CFM, not only lowering the temperature at the worksite but also offering multi-purpose use such as indoor air circulation and drying. In particular, it is equipped with a 178 mm high-performance motor and bearing for smooth operation, and can be used for up to 8 hours when using a 4Ah battery. In addition, it features a 3-step variable speed dial that can adjust speed and airflow, allowing precise control of wind strength according to the work environment. Furthermore, a head that can be freely adjusted up to 150 degrees and a locking device that fixes it at the desired angle enable more effective application on-site, and a track war bracket (latch) on the bottom lets you secure and work at the desired location.
Stanley’s ‘20V MAX Rechargeable Air Inflator (SCE520)’ can inflate a wide range of items, from toys, soccer balls, tubes, and air mattresses to bicycle and vehicle tires, making it especially useful in summer and fall when people frequently go on vacation or camping. In particular, during the hot summer, tires can be damaged by high temperatures and frictional heat, so being able to easily and quickly inflate them with this product is another strength. The ‘20V MAX Rechargeable Air Inflator (SCE520)’ can inject powerful air quickly and easily with an air pressure of 160 PSI, and it includes a total of 4 types of adapters so you can select the accessory to suit the item you want to inflate. Injected air can also be discharged effortlessly by attaching an accessory to the intake port. Moreover, it can be easily switched between two modes—air pressure discharge and high-volume air discharge—to suit the usage environment. In addition, the air pressure setting button allows you to set the desired air pressure and change the unit among psi, bar, and kPa. The air pressure set this way is displayed via an LED on the top of the product, making it easy to check even in dark environments. Furthermore, the main power method can be changed using a switch. Whereas other companies’ products generally can only be used with a DC (battery) type, Stanley can also be used with an AC (cable cord) type, and supports three types—20V MAX battery, wired (50 cm), and 12V MAX vehicle adapter (3 m)—for use as the situation requires.
