The ‘Convertible Kimchi Refrigerator’—the first kimchi refrigerator from the CUCKOO brand across both CUCKOO Electronics and CUCKOO HOMESYS—features a precise cooling system that minimizes temperature deviation to ±0.3℃, preserving moisture. It is also equipped with CUCKOO HOMESYS’s own fermentation technology and a convertible cooling system. The convertible cooling system offers detailed modes divided into Kimchi Mode and General Mode, enabling it to maintain suitable temperatures for everything from basic kimchi storage and ripening to general refrigeration and freezing, as well as meal kits, vegetables and fruits, and alcoholic beverages. CUCKOO HOMESYS plans to use this entry into the kimchi refrigerator market as a stepping stone to further expand its large home-appliance business going forward.
