Kitchen and bath brand KOHLER has launched a new one-piece toilet that captures two goals at once—interior appeal and hygiene.

KOHLER’s new ‘San Souci’ is a one-piece toilet that has recently been gaining popularity in premium apartments and similar settings. Its low tank height makes for excellent space efficiency and a design that does not disrupt the interior atmosphere. As a result, when a bidet is installed, it minimizes any sense of mismatch and delivers a highly unified look. In addition, it adopts a skirted design that conceals the exterior trap, offering the advantages of low noise and easy cleaning, as scale and grime are less likely to build up.

Living up to its status as a premium kitchen and bath brand, KOHLER has given ‘San Souci’ a clean and sophisticated design. Its low, 619㎜ body gives the comfortable feel of a chair. This product is a ‘Hidden Cord’ version, featuring a special design that routes the bidet hose and power cord to the lower and rear part of the main body; when a bidet designed for the hidden cord is installed, it further enhances the unified look between the ceramic and the bidet. It also applies KOHLER’s own flushing technology, ‘Revolution 360’ flushing, enabling a cleaner and more powerful flush. Revolution 360 flushing is an upgraded version of the existing ‘Class 5’ flushing. By eliminating the rim holes in the lower part of the toilet, the water swirls a full 360 degrees, sweeping the interior surface of the ceramic and flushing quickly. Because there are none of the blind spots in the water flow that occur between the rim holes of conventional toilets, it is easy to keep the entire interior of the ceramic clean. Moreover, despite being a water-saving toilet that uses just 3.3/4.8 liters of water per flush, it delivers a powerful flush.

Park Sun-young, Marketing Director at KOHLER, said, “Toilets are products for which hygiene requires particular attention,” adding, “In fact, even in the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak, there was heated debate over whether the virus could spread through toilets. That is why KOHLER is sparing no effort in leading the way to create hygienic bathroom environments—through measures such as introducing touchless technology and developing proprietary flushing technology—so that consumers can carry on with their daily lives with peace of mind.” The new ‘San Souci’ is available at KOHLER dealerships and dealer shops nationwide.

Meanwhile, KOHLER, founded in 1873, is a company headquartered in Wisconsin, USA, with about 50 manufacturing facilities worldwide. It designs and manufactures kitchen and bathroom products, engines and power systems, premium furniture, tiles, and more. 02-3473-9993
