Two New Products Launched: Compact Drill and Hammer Drill Driver

DEWALT, the premium professional power tool brand of Stanley Black & Decker Korea, has launched the ‘20V MAX XR Brushless Compact Drill Driver (DCD801)’ and the ‘20V MAX XR Brushless Compact Hammer Drill Driver (DCD806),’ delivering 80% more power than existing products and maximizing work efficiency.

Both new products are equipped with a premium high-performance XR brushless motor, increasing power density by 80% over previous models for best-in-class performance. The ‘20V MAX XR Brushless Compact Drill Driver (DCD801)’ delivers powerful performance with a maximum torque of 90Nm and a no-load speed of up to 2,000rpm, enabling drilling of up to 55mm in wood and up to 13mm in metal. In addition, the ‘20V MAX XR Brushless Compact Hammer Drill Driver (DCD806)’ delivers up to 34,000bpm, allowing work on hard masonry up to 13mm. Its ergonomic design also minimizes physical strain on jobsite workers.

In particular, the standout advantage of these new products is the ‘Anti-Rotation System.’ It enhances safety by not only automatically stopping the tool in a bind-up situation where the tool catches or stalls in the workpiece, but also alerting the user to danger with a red warning light to prevent injury. Furthermore, DEWALT’s new ‘DCD801’ and ‘DCD806’ feature an overall length reduced by approximately 6.5% or more compared to the existing ‘DCD791’ and ‘DCD796’ models, respectively, along with an overmold grip, making work easier even in tight spaces. Their optimal weight balance, which reduces fatigue during extended use and minimizes constraints on space and work range, is another strength. They are also equipped with various features to boost productivity. With 15 torque settings and a drilling mode for precise work, they feature an LED light with high/medium/low angle adjustment to suit the task, ensuring high visibility even in dark environments.
