Cuckoo has unveiled its first top-load washing machine, a 12 kg capacity model aimed at small households.

The new Cuckoo washing machine is designed to powerfully remove stubborn dirt while treating fabrics gently. In particular, it features a Twist Wave washboard and five-fold twist blades to boost washing power and reduce tangling. Its bidirectional, powerful three-dimensional waterfall action also stands out, thoroughly removing deep-set dirt and leftover detergent. The stainless embossed wash tub minimizes fabric damage, and its stainless steel construction reduces concerns about bacteria and contamination for a more hygienic laundry environment. Another strength is that a single press of the tub-clean button keeps the wash tub clean with powerful water currents. The mesh-structured double magic filter gathers lint and dust generated during washing in one place, making post-use maintenance simple. In addition, the slow-close safety door, made of impact-resistant tempered glass that closes softly, maximizes durability. The 10-level water-level function, which adjusts automatically according to the amount of laundry, minimizes water and energy waste, and various technologies have been applied to reduce vibration and noise. Furthermore, door-open detection and a button lock function help prevent accidents during spin cycles as well as malfunctions caused by children or pets, further enhancing safety.

A Cuckoo official said, “We have built a diverse product portfolio in response to changes in consumers’ lifestyles,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to closely examine customers’ needs and introduce the products the market requires.” 1588-8899
