Noksu Co., Ltd. is gaining popularity with the launch of Noksu ‘LVT+GREEN’ and ‘LVS+GREEN,’ sustainable
flooring collections that convert the flooring’s primary raw materials to carbon-reducing materials.
The products replace PVC—the most widely used material in flooring—with Bio-Circular Balanced PVC, made from discarded resources such as used cooking oil and from plant-based raw materials. This material contributes to a 114% reduction in carbon. In addition, the plasticizer uses phthalate-free material made from recycled PET water bottles. Both materials have earned ISCC PLUS certification—the most authoritative certification in the field of sustainability and an international certification system for sustainability and low-carbon products that complies with the European Union (EU) Renewable Energy Directive—and Noksu is the first in Korea to apply them to flooring. ‘LVT+GREEN’ consists of Eco Home 2000, Orchid 3000, and Acoustic Setagrip. ▲Eco Home 2000 is flooring optimized for ondol (underfloor) heating, and ▲Orchid 3000 is flooring for upscale commercial spaces—a high-performance product with Korea’s first and only 5-year quality warranty. ▲Setagrip is a global patented technology that dramatically reduces installation time and cost, and it also boasts a 20-decibel noise reduction feature. Furthermore, ‘LVS+GREEN,’ a premium roll-sheet flooring, has enhanced functionality and stability and features new designs.
Noksu CEO Ko Dong-hwan said, “Through the innovation of converting our primary raw materials to carbon-reducing materials, Noksu will redefine sustainability in the global LVT flooring market.” 02-520-7624
