Design differentiation through the proprietary color manual 'Livart Color Palette'
Hyundai Livart is launching 'Livart Zipterior,' a total interior brand for home interiors, in 2022.
Embodying a spirit of innovation and genuine dedication to residential living, 'Livart Zipterior' goes beyond furniture to propose everything for home interiors, delivering better spaces for a happier life grounded in differentiation, value, and authenticity. 'Livart Zipterior' presents total interior packages spanning kitchen & bath, windows and doors, flooring, wallpaper, home doors, film, and molding, providing a one-stop service that covers everything from consultation on all of Livart's interior products to space consulting, purchasing, installation, and after-sales service (AS).
Previously, to build out its total interior business portfolio, Hyundai Livart introduced a series of specialized interior brands by category, beginning with 'Livart Kitchen' (kitchen furniture, 2015), followed by 'Livart Bath' (bathrooms, 2020) and 'Livart Window' (windows and doors, 2021).
Hyundai Livart introduced its total interior brand to respond to rapidly growing interior demand. The Construction & Economy Research Institute of Korea (CERIK) projects this year's interior and remodeling market at 60 trillion won, a 44.5% increase over last year (41.5 trillion won), while the share of aging homes continues to rise. This suggests that interior demand will remain considerable going forward.
A Hyundai Livart official explained, "Recently, the home has been evolving beyond a residential space into a place where work is done alongside leisure functions such as exercise and cooking," adding, "We have introduced a total interior service that can design a space and complete the final installation all at once, targeting the steadily growing demand for interiors tailored to customized spaces."
With 'Livart Zipterior,' consumers can choose from 54 types of interior furniture and building materials exclusive to Livart Zipterior according to their taste, and the scope of work can also be freely selected—whether transforming the entire home or renovating only part of it, such as the kitchen, living room, or master bedroom. In addition, four packages developed to reflect the latest interior trends are offered as brand products. The packages come in four concepts that reflect life stages and the latest interior trends: ▲Airy Soft, applying pastel-toned colors and furniture with rounded edges, targeting three-person families with preschool children; ▲French Glam, with enhanced kitchen and dining functions, targeting newlyweds who enjoy home parties; ▲'Linear Chic,' emphasizing a sense of luxury suited to large homes of 198㎡ (60 pyeong) or more; and ▲'Modern Natural,' maximizing spatial utility for remote work, storage, and more with a minimalist design.
For design differentiation, Hyundai Livart applies its proprietary color manual, the 'Livart Color Palette,' to 'Livart Zipterior.' The aim is to emphasize colors rarely seen in existing interior package products. The 'Livart Color Palette' applies pastel tones as well as primary-color families such as green and blue to its furniture designs—a bold departure in a furniture market where monotone colors like white and gray are the norm—earning favorable reviews from consumers who value individuality.
Hyundai Livart has also released products to mark the debut of its total interior brand 'Livart Zipterior': the 'Centra Vivid Color Floor' and 'Livart Window,' a windows-and-doors product developed through a year of collaboration with Hyundai L&C. Both products feature colors that have not previously been available in flooring and windows. 'Livart Window' is offered in three lines—premium (L-safe 6), high-end (L-safe 4+), and value (L-safe 4). The windows of 'Livart Window' maximize the intrinsic functions of windows, such as insulation and airtightness, and deliver top-level insulation performance with the option to add 28㎜-thick high-insulation double-pane glass, the thickest among domestic window brands. In addition, edge colors reflecting the Livart Color Palette make it possible to create distinctive, stylish interiors. The flooring is likewise composed of products that consider functionality, design, and the environment at the highest level. 'Centra Vivid Color Floor,' a flooring product expressing the colors of light, can be selected from four basic colors and six point colors to suit the space and taste. Developed using PET-material film, it is Korea's first eco-friendly PET flooring and completely blocks the four major heavy metals, including mercury and chromium.
In addition, Hyundai Livart plans to expand its directly operated showrooms and dealerships in line with the launch of 'Livart Zipterior.' For directly operated showrooms, it will open ultra-large showrooms of 2,752㎡ (834 pyeong) in Gangnam and 3,276㎡ (993 pyeong) in Suwon next month, and plans to open 14 stores in department stores and major commercial districts by the end of this year. For dealerships, in addition to the roughly 150 already secured, it aims to increase the total to about 300 by the end of this year.
A Hyundai Livart official said, "Through Livart Zipterior, we plan to provide new experiences across every element that makes up a home, from interior furniture to materials," adding, "Going forward, we will continue to upgrade Livart's own authentic, differentiated quality and service to further solidify our standing as a total interior specialist."
