LG Hausys has launched 'LG Z:IN Safety Mat', a children's mat that combines excellent eco-friendliness with trendy design.
'LG Z:IN Safety Mat' is an eco-friendly product that applies TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane)—a material used in infant tableware and food containers—to its surface layer, reducing the volatile hazardous substances that cause sick-house syndrome. With total volatile organic compounds (TVOC) below 0.1 ㎎/㎡h, it has earned the 'HB (Healthy Building Material) Mark' awarded through the quality certification test of the Korea Air Cleaning Association. In particular, 'LG Z:IN Safety Mat' features a high-elasticity cushioning layer that reduces light impact noise, helping to mitigate inter-floor noise, and it absorbs impact when children fall. LG Hausys stated that 'LG Z:IN Safety Mat' reduces light floor impact noise by 43 dB from 78 dB compared to a bare slab (concrete) floor. In addition, 'LG Z:IN Safety Mat' has a matte surface texture that is non-slip while providing a natural surface feel, and it can be easily cut with a utility knife, allowing for easy installation tailored to the space. Furthermore, light everyday soiling can be easily removed, and the mat shows little change in appearance from frequent pressure, making it easy to clean and maintain.
Beyond this, careful attention was also paid to design so that it harmonizes with the surrounding interior. Many people give up on floor design when laying down a mat because of their children, but the Safety Mat offers a variety of on-trend color and pattern designs to address this frustration as much as possible.
