Festool Korea introduces its new, even more convenient guide rail system, designed to improve productivity in interior work and to create a healthy, dust-free working environment.
The 'FS/2-KP' guide rail is available in two versions, with cutting lengths of 1,400 mm and 1,900 mm. The product features a newly added groove in the center of the guide rail, which can be inserted over the carrying handle of any Systainer for easy transport. In addition, it enables precise, straight cuts for horizontal work on floors and work surfaces or when used against a wall. Furthermore, the newly added adhesive pad securely fixes the guide rail to prevent slipping, further enhancing work efficiency.
Moreover, the 'FS/2-KP' guide rail is compatible with the new guide rail accessories launched alongside it, establishing a complete guide rail system that boosts work efficiency. When used with the new 'FS-WA' angle stop, angles between –60 and +60 degrees can be cut quickly and precisely, while the self-adjusting FSV/2 connecting piece allows guide rails to be joined in a straight line quickly and conveniently. In addition, the adhesive pad included with the 'FS/2-KP' guide rail makes it easy to fix the rail onto various surfaces, including walls. Because it leaves no residue when attached and removed, it is even more useful at interior work sites.
An official from Festool Korea said, "The newly launched guide rail combines the strengths of the existing product with further improvements to enhance operators' convenience and efficiency, and it can realize the ultimate system through a variety of accessory combinations."
In addition, Festool is currently conducting an important safety notice worldwide regarding its 'Sliding Compound Miter Saw KS 88' and 'KS 120' models produced and sold between 2007 and February 2010. Festool is asking consumers to check whether products made during the noted period are subject to the recall. Customers can verify whether their product is affected by entering the part number (T number) and serial number (S number) on the website, and any customer who owns a product subject to the recall must notify Festool immediately. For products subject to the technical improvement measures, replacement of the electronic control unit and a safety inspection will be carried out free of charge, and Festool Korea is currently conducting the improvement measures for affected products sold domestically.
