Festool Korea, the premium power tool brand, announced that it is expanding its work lighting solution portfolio by launching two high-performance cordless LED lamps, the SYSLITE 'KAL-C & KBS-C'—which deliver powerful output despite their compact design—in the Korean market in March 2025.
First, the 'KBS-C' is an LED lamp that can be used at high output for indoor interior work sites as well as for outdoor work. With 72 built-in LEDs, it can illuminate the surroundings with a light output of up to 5,000 lm. It can be used easily and cordlessly with a Festool 18V Bluetooth battery, and its unlimited dimming function (brightness adjustment) allows the user to practically adjust the brightness to the required level. In addition, it can be conveniently attached and secured to steel doors and metal surfaces with its magnet, and when needed it can also be mounted on a tripod, allowing users to conveniently set the optimal beam angle. Furthermore, with an IP54 dust- and water-resistance rating, it can be used even in harsh environments such as outdoor construction sites.
The 'KAL-C' is a compact work light made up of 24 LEDs, optimized for work in indoor and confined spaces. Its advantage is that it can be used at an output of up to 1,200 lm. In particular, its 24 built-in LEDs provide optimal light for work areas within 1–2 m, and its small size of 125×82×52 mm and light weight of 0.36 kg (excluding the battery) also allow for easy handling. In addition, the product's brightness can be adjusted in three stages (300/600/1,200 lm), and the angle of the lamp head can be easily set from 0 to 180 degrees. Moreover, its folding holder allows the product to be hung and secured on ladders, scaffolding, and doors, and when used together with the magnetic ball-head (MA KAL) accessory, the light can be positioned anywhere in any direction across 360 degrees, offering outstanding efficiency and convenience in use. Like the 'KBS-C', the 'KAL-C' also has an IP54 dust- and water-resistance rating.
