The Cordless Plunge-Cut Saw TSC 55 K features an unrivaled KickbackStop function that safely protects not only the workpiece but also the operator's hands, preventing the risk of injury through the miracle of 0.001 seconds. In addition, a new saw blade and concentrated torque give the blade a longer service life and enable faster working speeds.
Furthermore, the new Cordless Plunge-Cut Saw TSC 55 K delivers performance equal to that of a corded tool thanks to its brushless EC-TEC motor and dual-battery system (fitted with two 18V batteries), providing the operator with complete mobility. In particular, the KickbackStop function can be deactivated manually so it can be used to suit the working situation, and the KickbackStop function is automatically reactivated the next time the tool is switched on.
Meanwhile, Festool is currently issuing an important safety notice regarding its Sliding Mitre Saw KS 88 and KS 120 models produced and sold between 2007 and February 2010. As a precautionary consumer protection measure related to products manufactured during the stated period, Festool is asking consumers to check whether their product is subject to the recall. You can check whether your product is affected by entering the part number (T number) and serial number (S number) on the website (www.festool.com/retrofit).
For products subject to the technical improvement measure, replacement of the electronic control unit and a safety inspection will be carried out free of charge, and for affected products sold in Korea, the improvement measures are being handled by Festool Korea. The improvement service under this recall notice will continue on an ongoing basis with no specific end date.
