LG Electronics has launched the 'LG PuriCare Objet Collection Water Purifier Light-On,' which illuminates spaces to suit your lifestyle.
The 'Light-On Water Purifier' is distinguished by its mood-lighting feature, which lights up in a variety of ways. By connecting the product to the LG ThinQ app, customers can set an 'alarm light' for the times they need water—such as when it's time to take vitamins every morning or to change a pet's drinking water in the afternoon. The 'mood light' can also be used to create different atmospheres in a space. Simply set the desired brightness and color for each time period through the LG ThinQ app. Its ultra-compact size, roughly 13 cm wide, along with its simple and stylish design, makes it ideal for use in tight spaces. LG Electronics completed the slim design in consideration of the fact that consumers in their 20s and 30s who intend to use a water purifier place importance on space utilization and design. In addition, the company improved price accessibility so that one- and two-person households can use it conveniently.
The 'Light-On Water Purifier' inherits the thorough hygiene management and smart convenience features that are the strengths of LG PuriCare water purifiers. The All Purifier Filter System applied to the product filters out 99.99% of nine types of heavy metals and norovirus, allowing customers to drink clean water with peace of mind. The product's high-temperature sterilization feature automatically sterilizes the internal direct water line at high temperature once a week. The water outlet can be sterilized at high temperature whenever the customer wishes, and the UV Nano feature—which automatically sterilizes with a UV LED for 10 minutes every hour—is applied for even greater peace of mind. Also useful is the customizable dispensing capacity, which can be set in 10 ml increments within a range of 120 to 1,000 ml. When used with in-person care service, the new 'Light-On Water Purifier' has a monthly subscription fee ranging from 29,000 to 23,900 won depending on the maintenance cycle, based on a six-year contract.
Lee Hyun-wook, head of the Kitchen Solution Business Unit at LG Electronics' H&A Company, said, "With a mood-lighting feature that did not exist before, the new product offers a differentiated experience to customers purchasing a water purifier."
Meanwhile, to celebrate the launch of the new product, LG Electronics is running a 'Reduce Plastic Campaign' for purchasing customers. During the two months of January and February, customers who sign a pledge to reduce plastic use at the LG Electronics Online Brand Shop (OBS) will receive a special kit from the premium tumbler brand 'S'well,' worth 82,000 won. 1544-7777
