Swedish luxury bed brand 'Carpe Diem Beds' is introducing its floating bed 'Kungso' to the Korean market. The brand is exclusively imported and sold by Shinsegae Casa, the first such arrangement in Asia.

'Kungso' is the flagship product of the 'Carpe Diem Beds Iconic Collection,' which launched first in Europe and is gaining significant popularity. To commemorate the third anniversary of Carpe Diem Beds' launch in Korea, it has been available domestically since this past December. Through this, Shinsegae Casa aims to strengthen its bedroom product lineup while further elevating the brand's domestic recognition and market position. Carpe Diem Beds, one of the luxury brands under the global sleep specialist group Hilding Anders, has already earned recognition for its technology and performance not only in Sweden but also in European countries such as the United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany, and France, standing shoulder to shoulder with renowned high-end sleep brands such as 'Hästens,' 'Duxiana,' and 'Vispring.' 'Kungso' is called a 'floating bed' for its distinctive form that creates the illusion of floating in mid-air. Its design is characterized by an intuitive expression of the weightless, zero-gravity comfort that is Carpe Diem Beds' signature strength. Last year, it won the Gold Award in the product category at the London Design Awards, proving its design originality and excellence.

A Shinsegae Casa representative said, "Through the new Kungso, we plan to imprint Carpe Diem Beds' identity on our customers and expand its recognition in the market," adding, "In line with demand in the rapidly growing sleep market, we will actively nurture premium brands that combine technology and design, such as Materasso and Carpe Diem Beds."

Meanwhile, the new 'Kungso' can be seen at the Carpe Diem Beds store on the 9th floor of Shinsegae Department Store's Gangnam branch. 1566-0228
